The Last Playground

During my last sememster at UGA, I had the opportunity to pursue a cornerstone project with several other seniors. We produced a web series titled "The Last Playground." As both a producer and production designer, I had the opportunity to grown and learn in both production and event management. I relayed information to the press, organized crew sheets and scripts, and wore various hats to make sure all goals were accomplished.

UGA G-Day Tailgate

As a member of the Student Alumni Council, I had the opportunity to assemble the annual UGA G-Day tailgate. Based entirely on donorship, this event cost nothing. I had to work with local caterers and entertainers to help support UGA SAC, by providing non-commototive incentives. I used day play and other team members to achieve the 1,000 person turn-out.

Homecoming Weekend

As part of an advancement of an organization on campus, I spear-headed a two day event for students on UGA campus during the Homecoming fesitivites. Weeks leading up to the Homecoming week, I managed and organized a float-making project which was displayed in the UGA annual Homecoming Parade. After which, I planned a formal dinner for both parents and UGA students to attend on Herty Field with live music and speakers. The next morning each guest was welcomed to a full-breakfast tailgate and tickets to the Homecoming game. We even had a visit from the Homecoming Queen herself!

Story-telling through Experience.

ABHS Ad-Dress In Need

During my volunteer time at ABHS, I had the opportunity to volunteer as Media Coordinator for this unique fundraiser. I was responsible for reaching out to media outlets and bringing in photographers from across the Athens area, reaching as far as Jefferson and Madison. Sales for this event reached a goal-breaking amount.

Spring Formal

As social chair for Sigma Alpha Omega, I fulfilled the annual spring formal location by reaching out to the Stone Mountain Boat Ferry. I worked with in-house caterers and alumni sisters to manage a $1,000 budget. The event boasted 350 people in attendance, and the night led to the boat rocking!

Mardi Gras

To promote an Athenian group of women, I hosted a Mardi Gras scavenger hunt, which led to an evening out on the town complete with dinner and dessert at a local Italian eatery. The event led the women all through north campus teaching them facts about Mardi Gras, while they collected beads, masks, and toys to celebrate the night.

UGAmiracle Encore

An event planned to keep the UGAmiracle dance party going, I worked with Sigma Alpha Omega to bring two Southern artists for an encore performance. While the event was free, donations were collected at the door and raffle prizes were given out to attendees. The event raised almost $1,000 for the Children's Health Care of Atlanta.
